Why the appellate record matters

Trial results are private settlements and verdicts the public rarely sees. Appellate decisions are published, reasoned and permanent. They are the clearest public record of how a lawyer argues and how courts have received those arguments.

Each decision turned on its own facts and law. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter.
